Dedicated to improving music education in our community

​The Corpus Christi Music Teachers Association (CCMTA) was organized in 1951 with the objectives of stimulating its members to a greater efficiency in the teaching of music, encouraging and promoting the cause of good music, and fostering fraternity and good fellowship in the music teaching profession.  CCMTA is an affiliate of the Texas Music Teachers Association (TMTA) and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), and is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
